"How precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." Psalms 116:15
Tom passed from death to life at 5 minutes to midnight tonight with his family and close friend cheering him on. We will post details soon.
My Dad, Tom Hardeman, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We will keep you updated and hope you will post encouraging comments to him on this blog. Keep praying, for our hope is in the Lord.

Dear Friend Tom, You have helped me and so many others during your stay here on earth, giving us
each comfort and love with your big arms. Now you get to rest in the Fathers presents. What a blessing you are and
will always be in my life. Give GOD a hug for me. See you soon. Earl

Our family is celebrating and lifting up those left behind. Tom you are one of those in the great cloud of witnesses for us and we love you.

Cari, I didn't even know until yesterday that your dad was ill. I didn't get a chance to pray much for him, but now he's with Jesus and is completely and wonderfully whole. While I'm sure the angels are rejoicing over his entrance into Heaven, I cannot even begin to imagine the loss you and the family are experiencing. I've read most of your blog, chuckled at some comments, sobbed at more. What a blessing to have such a precious Daddy. Though I didn't get to spend much time with him, he managed (easily) to make a powerful, positive impression. Know that I will be praying mightily for you and your family. My prayer will be that you continue to experience God's mercy and feel His strength in a way you have never felt it before. Give my love to sweet Rachel, Tim, Sam, Caleb, and precious Hector. I love you dearly, Janetta

Our love and lifting you all in prayer. What an incredible man Tom was. He is already missed. But my heart rejoices he is with our Father in heaven and in our hearts forever.

Dear Tom and family; we will miss seeing Tom & Eileen in Hawaii and at many of our various church functions. Your friendship and love has meant a lot to us over the past many many years.
We will now have one more friend to see when we get to Heaven.

Eileen & Family, What a blessing from the LORD to have such a godly Husband, dad, grandpa and Friend to many.... We feel very lucky to have met you both and will eternally be blessed by your smiles and love you showed each other.... My heart was touched when I would hear your daughter, DeeDee talk about how she felt about the two of you and to have a son in law, Robert talk as if you were his best friend and dad. I got confused as I first was getting to understand who was related to who...that you both were really DeeDee's parents ...SMILE Dan and I hope that we can leave a legacy as you have,Tom...and as you are still leaving with your family and friends, Eileen !!! Our prayers are with you all. Hugs from Dan and Marcia Durbin
I worked with Tom many many years ago. He was one of those people that when I met him I knew there was something different about him..he was not the typical business man. I sensed that he had an inner peace and that he was living the life I hoped one day to achieve. He has been an inspiration to me and based on what I read from his family, I understand that he not only had a tremendous impact on them but them on him! Mo
Dearest Family,
My husband and I came to know about your family through close friends of yours at Bent Tree. We also attend there and were honored to have the opportunity to pray for Tom and the rest of the family.
We are deeply touched by your dedication to the Lord, the wonderful example of Christ like living that is so evident when we read about Tom, and inspired to help his legacy continue by following his example.
In the days to come we know the grief will begin to flow and we will be continuing to lift you up in prayer.
Our sympathies,
Lauren and Greg Daves
